The Sound Art Network
A sneak peak of the alternative arts and music scene here in Singapore. In this short documentary, we gain insights to the lives and concerns of artists, Yuzuru Maeda, Kai Lam, Randolf Arriola and Seelan Palay who forefront an alternative, more personal and intimate premise towards the local arts scene. Whether is it beauty, music or madness, politics or personal struggles, "there is no such thing as good or bad art." This film was filmed and produced for my ethnography course, NUS FASS, Southeast Asian Studies instructed by Dr. Arafat and was a precursor to my undergraduate honours dissertation on the alternative music scene in Singapore (and Southeast Asia).
